Video Tip of the Week: Happy Halloween!

As a kid there is nothing better than putting on fun costumes and going from house to house and getting a bag full (or in my case, a pillow case full) of candy… for FREE! All you have to do is look cute and say “trick or treat.” Trick or treating is a great experience that every child should get to experience. Even if you live an apartment property your kids can still have a fun time without leaving your neighborhood. Check out our video tip of the week for some tips on how to have a blast trick or treating in your apartment community.

Look Ma! We’re on TV!

I will never move myself again!
Written by Moveforfree on May 3, 2010 – 3:34 pm -Truer words have never been spoken.
Since I have been living on my own, just over 6 yeas, I have moved 4 different times. And one of those times was cross country. (over 1000 miles) And all of those times I did it on my own, with a little help from my friends. But now that I have MoveforFREE.com in my life. I no longer need to bribe my friends with free food and a contract to help them move in the future.
So when it came time to move again I couldn’t wait to actually MOVE. Knowing that it was taken care of totally took the stressfulness out of moving. Yes there was packing and cleaning but, all of that seems minuscule when you have movers. The movers called me 20 minutes before they arrived. It was great to see Brian again and he brought his partner Justin They were done packing up the truck within a half an hour. They handled my boxes and furniture very carefully and were super friendly.
I guess I better start moving boxes..
Oh wait! I don’t have to move my boxes…
So, I’ll just sit here and wait!

The Adventures of MoveforFREE

This past weekend I had the opportunity to accompany a friend of mine during her moveforfree move. The concept of having people move yourself for you is great in itself, but actually seeing it first hand was awesome! And to top it off….
She didn’t have to pay for the truck…
She didn’t have to pay for the movers…
She didn’t have to pay for the gas for the truck, dolly, pads etc…
Jacob and Brian (the movers) had gorgeous day to move. They were fast, very efficient, and true professionals and handled her possessions with the utmost care.
People always say that once they use movers, they will never move themselves again…. well when you can “moveforfree” why would you?
And now here is the first edition in MoveforFREE’s Moving Adventures!

On the move in Dallas…

Packed up the truck and headed from San Antonio to Dallas for the annual Apartment Association of Greater Dallas (AAGD) Trade Show. The people in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area love moveforFREE.com! In 2009 alone we moved over 4,300 people! Thank you DFW!!!
This trip was very exciting because I finally got to meet our awesome Dallas/ Fort Worth based locators.

The trade show was Mardi Gras themed.. so we got to wear and giveaway beads and MoveforFREE koozies! The trade show goers seemed to really love that.

We had a lot of fun and meet some new apartment property staff that really showed us their appreciation for MoveforFREE.com! That is always so nice to hear. Thank you!

Our Trip to Houston
Written by Moveforfree on March 19, 2010 – 9:30 am -We had a great time in Houston last week! Saw some beautiful new apartments and got to hang out with one of our fabulous locators; Mary. (She even gave us some of her fabulous peanut brittle to take home.)
And we’re off!
Almost there…
Our first stop was at the beautiful new CityCentre area, located off Beltway 8 and I-10. CityCentre is a gorgeous new area of town where you can work, live, eat, shop, and play all in one area.
Then we met up with one of our fabulous locators, Mary, to shoot some video of the two apartment properties that they have there.
First we went to the Domain Apartments.
What a gorgeous place this would be to call home. I think the pictures say way more than I could.
Then we were off to the Lofts at CityCentre.
This place was so tranquil and serene. It felt like I was stepping into a spa.
The lease at the Lofts also includes a membership to the Lifetime Fitness Center about a block away.
Also, while we were in Houston, we stopped by the downtown area and of course had to see the famous Waterwall in the Galleria. Can you believe Brad Paisley was shooting a music video there at the same time!!??
We had a fabulous time! Thank you Houston!
