On the move in Dallas…

Packed up the truck and headed from San Antonio to Dallas for the annual Apartment Association of Greater Dallas (AAGD) Trade Show. The people in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area love moveforFREE.com! In 2009 alone we moved over 4,300 people! Thank you DFW!!!
This trip was very exciting because I finally got to meet our awesome Dallas/ Fort Worth based locators.

The trade show was Mardi Gras themed.. so we got to wear and giveaway beads and MoveforFREE koozies! The trade show goers seemed to really love that.

We had a lot of fun and meet some new apartment property staff that really showed us their appreciation for MoveforFREE.com! That is always so nice to hear. Thank you!

On the move in Austin!
Written by Moveforfree on March 22, 2010 – 2:15 pm -Last week I was “on the move” in Austin, I thought I would recap a bit for you all!
Austin is one Unique city! I suppose that’s why their official slogan is “Keep Austin Weird.” That slogan was actually created for a campaign to preserve small local businesses and resist excessive corporatization. (via wikipedia.org)
But Austin is also Texas’s state capitol. The actual capitol building is the largest, but not the tallest state capitol building in the United States. Although I did get kinda dizzy looking down from the top floor.

Austin has a lot of really cool apartments. If you are a student at UT and are looking to move off campus, there are A LOT of apartments near the university that are perfect for students!
I also shot a quick video while I was in Austin. Did you know Austin is also known as “The live music capitol of the world”?

Our Trip to Houston
Written by Moveforfree on March 19, 2010 – 9:30 am -We had a great time in Houston last week! Saw some beautiful new apartments and got to hang out with one of our fabulous locators; Mary. (She even gave us some of her fabulous peanut brittle to take home.)
And we’re off!
Almost there…
Our first stop was at the beautiful new CityCentre area, located off Beltway 8 and I-10. CityCentre is a gorgeous new area of town where you can work, live, eat, shop, and play all in one area.
Then we met up with one of our fabulous locators, Mary, to shoot some video of the two apartment properties that they have there.
First we went to the Domain Apartments.
What a gorgeous place this would be to call home. I think the pictures say way more than I could.
Then we were off to the Lofts at CityCentre.
This place was so tranquil and serene. It felt like I was stepping into a spa.
The lease at the Lofts also includes a membership to the Lifetime Fitness Center about a block away.
Also, while we were in Houston, we stopped by the downtown area and of course had to see the famous Waterwall in the Galleria. Can you believe Brad Paisley was shooting a music video there at the same time!!??
We had a fabulous time! Thank you Houston!

On the move this week… Houston!

FAN•tastic February Recap

We dedicateed FAN•tastic February to our fans and followers. At the beginning of February we had 293 Fans on Facebook and around 25 followers Twitter. As of today we have 336 Fans on Facebook and 56 followers on Twitter!
One of our main goals for FAN•tastic February and of these social networking sites altogether is to be more connected to our customers and or future customers. Using Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc.. we are able to hear from you… our fans! We can answer your questions, share your testimonials with the world, and share our successes with the people that matter the most! Thank you!
Week one of FAN•tastic February was a hit with our “Big Game” prize package. Go Saints!!
Week two we had a local of San Antonio win our Valentine Sweetheart Prize Package! Thanks @lettergirl for following us on Twitter.
